Osaka University大阪大学
Osaka University (OU) is a comprehensive research university with 11 schools, 15 graduate schools, 23 research institutes, 4 libraries, and 2 university hospitals. Under the motto of “Live Locally, Grow Globally,” some of the most advanced research in the world is taking place here at the university. Around 24,000 students are studying at OU and there are about 2,700 international students from 107 countries and regions. With so many cultures, backgrounds, and ways of thinking all in one place, Osaka University provides an enriching environment for people from all walks of life.

In April 2022, Osaka City University and Osaka Prefecture University have merged to form the Osaka Metropolitan University (OMU), which is the largest public university in Japan with 12 schools and colleges, 15 graduate schools in social sciences, science, engineering, medicine etc. Our goal is to be a world-class university in advanced research that is not bound by the conventional academic framework.

Osaka Institute of Technology大阪工業大学
Osaka Institute of Technology (OIT) is a private university in Osaka, Japan. It started as “Kansai Engineering Technical School” in 1922, and it gained a 4-year university status and changed its name to “Osaka Institute of Technology” in 1949. Our mission is “For the world, for the people and for the community to develop specialists with science-based practical skills who play an important role in society.”. There are 3 campuses (Omiya, Umeda, Hirakata), 4 faculties (Engineering, Robotics & Design, Information Science and Technology, Intellectual Property) with 17 undergraduate degrees and 4 master’s degrees and approximately 8,150 undergraduate and graduate students.
大阪工業大学では、1922年に創立した関西工業専修学校を前身とし、「世のため、人のため、地域のため、理論に裏付けられた実践的技術をもち、現場で活躍できる専門職業人を育成する」という見学の精神を掲げています。現在、3キャンパス（大宮・梅田・枚方）に4学部（工・ロボティクス&デザイン工・情報科・知的財産）17学科とそれらを基礎とする大学院4研究科を持つ理工系総合大学となっており、約8150人が在籍しています。

Osaka International University大阪国際大学
Osaka International University (OIU) was established in 1929 originally as Teikoku Women’s High School.For more than 90 years since its founding, OIU has emphasized the importance of education, our Founding Philosophy “Educating the Whole Person”, and has progressed as a university that responds to the social needs for higher education. In order to promote education internationalization, we have concluded international exchange agreements with 111 schools in 26 countries/regions (as of Feb. 2025) and provide diverse programs such as accepting International students, exchange programs, short- and long-term study abroad programs, etc. to offer even more opportunities to learn.
大阪国際大学は、1929年に創立された帝国高等女学校を前身にもつ大学で90周年を迎えました。そして創立以来、「全人教育」という建学の精神を基礎とし、社会の要請に応えるべく発展を遂げてきました。 また、教育の国際を推進するために海外の26の国・地域、111校（2025年2月現在）と国際交流協定を結び、留学生の受け入れや交換留学、長期・短期派遣留学など、多彩なプログラムを設けて学びの可能性を追求しています。

Osaka Shoin Women’s University大阪樟蔭女子大学
Osaka Shoin Women’s University was established in 1949 with the new university system and celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2019. In April 2015, the campus renewal construction was completed, giving rise to a state-of-the-art education facility, equipped to provide an ideal learning environment in an easily accessible location. The program for our international Japanese Studies Students offers not only personalized instruction, but also considerate and meticulous support. Osaka University of Commerce大阪商業大学
Osaka University of Commerce is a private institute for tertiary education, and is a part of the Tanioka Gakuen Educational Foundation. Today, the University has three faculties, the Economics, the Business Administration and the Public Affairs as well as the Graduate School of Regional Policy Studies, with approximately 4,500 students enrolled altogether. The founding philosophy of our university is “the cultivation of individuals who will benefit the world,” and this philosophy is founded on four main pillars of support: 1. Kindness and Courtesy, 2. Osaka Jogakuin University大阪女学院大学
Osaka Jogakuin University is a Christian-based educational community with its origins in the Wilmina Girls’ School, founded in 1884 by the missionary brothers, the Hails, in the Kawaguchi Foreign Settlement in Osaka. Our education is built on three core pillars: Christian education, human rights education, and English education. The university is a comprehensive university with 17 departments in 9 faculties (Law, International Studies, Economics, Business Administration, Contemporary Society, Science and Technology, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Agriculture). The university provides education to acquire knowledge and skills in specialized fields, to develop the human, practical, and comprehensive abilities required in society, and to enhance diverse values. Momoyama Gakuin University桃山学院大学
Momoyama Gakuin University, located in Izumi City in the southern part of Osaka, is a comprehensive university consisting of 7 faculties and 8 departments in the fields of humanities and social sciences. We have approximately 7,000 students, including 300 international students. Our university provides a wide range of support for international students, including Japanese language training, career assistance, opportunities for student interaction, and scholarships. In particular, scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and cover either 100% or 50% of annual tuition fees. We also have a tuition fee waiver programme for students who experience a sudden change in their household finances. Please note that both scholarships and tuition fee waivers are subject to a selection process.
桃山学院大学は、大阪南部の和泉市に位置する、人文・社会系の7学部8学科からなる総合大学です。 学生数は約7,000名で、そのうち留学生は約300名です。 本学では、日本語教育、キャリア支援、交流の機会、奨学金など、留学生への幅広い支援を行っています。特に奨学金は、学内選考により、授業料の全額または半額が支給されます。 また、家計急変者に対する授業料免除制度もあります。 奨学金および授業料免除は、いずれも選考の対象となりますので、ご了承ください。
